Rachmaninoff sends two checks signed by him, and writes about the changes in his concert schedule.  He leaves Minneapolis on the 4th and arrives in Chicago on the 5th of October.  Also, he leaves Chicago on October 31st, not on November 1st, as was planned in his itinerary.
